Working for inclusivity in chemistry-USask

A scientific tour was taken to the Saskatchewan Research Council’s Geo Analytical Labs.

The bus arrived at 10 am and after a brief check-in and signing process from 10-10:15 am, the tour commenced at 10:15 am. Robert Miller provided an introduction to the Geo Analytical Labs. The tour lasted from 10:15 am to 11:25 am, during which it was revealed that over the course of 50 years, a variety of laboratories have been established with both research and commercial applications.

The tour included visits to various labs such as the Advanced Microanalytic Center which specializes in imaging and x-ray mapping, as well as ICP-MS, mineral analysis labs for gold, lithium, and rare earth elements, and quantitative mineral analyses.
